How Customs Coordination Works

Bangladesh customs clearance is a documentation and assessment process. For formal commercial imports, a licensed importer (with a valid IRC — Import Registration Certificate) and a C&F (Clearing & Forwarding) agent are typically required.

Important — Customs Duty: Customs duty is NOT a fixed per-kg charge. It depends on product HS Code, declared / assessable value, product category, and Bangladesh Customs assessment. Shipping cost and customs duty are calculated separately.
